We teased our tote bags featuring the Fruit Bats and some of our characters from the Little Woods on our Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr a few weeks ago.  We worked around the clock to get the bags up and running for Ohayocon this past weekend and they were a huge success!

Each bag is made of a soft, yet sturdy canvas material with thick nylon straps.  The art and colors are bright and eye-catching and the bags are perfect for books, clothes or even groceries!  Check out all the different varieties on Lemonbrat.com!

What a wonderful weekend Corey and Lucie had at Anime Apocalypse this year!

.
The convention was held at the wonderful Clock Tower Resort in Rockford, IL . Corey and Lucie enjoyed the growth of the convention which rounded out the year on an excellent convention! Corey managed to talk to every vendors possible during the weekend (chatter box he is!) while Lucie enjoyed the Friday and Saturday evening programming, none other than the raves! We can’t thank all of you enough for stopping by that weekend, making it a huge success for Lemonbrat!

The theme of the weekend was discount central! We had all of our new long dog scarves, and tassel hats at this show, on top of a huge touchable discount wall of merchandise for everyone to feast their eyes on! (And hands too since you could touch it all!). Anime Apocalypse attendees really enjoyed the touch wall, and seemed to spend every last penny of their Holiday money with us at the Lemonbrat Booth =D

The convention would not have been as smooth if it wasn’t for the help of the con staff helping us move in our massive booth and get everything set-up to enjoy the show! Props to Anime Apocalypse for their increase in attendance and excellent programming that made this convention enjoyable from every aspect.

The Lemonbrat Team is excited to come back for Anime Apocalypse 2014 and we hope to see you all there!

We’re closing out the week with another adorable glimpse into the Little Woods!  Our new pencil cases are as bright and colorful as our tote and satchel bags and feature full color, double-sided artwork of your favorite woodland critters.

The pencil cases measure in at 7.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches high.  After extensive field testing we can say that you can fit a LOT of pens and pencils in these cases – Ryan emptied out his desk drawers and still had room to spare!

And just in case you’re wondering, we will also be offering pencil cases featuring a certain group of nocturnal, half-fruit/half-flying-mammals…

Find them on Lemonbrat.com!

We have a new selection of bags up on Lemonbrat.com!  Earlier in the week, we teased our roomy, colorful tote bags.  Today, we wanted to show off the even more colorful satchel bags!  They feature full artwork on both sides of the bag with a hefty zipper to keep all your items safe and sound.

Measuring in at 7.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches high, they’re the perfect accessory for carrying around phones, wallets and any other pocket items!  The strap measures in at a minimum of 31 inches long with a 14 inch hang and a maximum of 58 inches long with a 27 inch hang.  This means you can easily wear it over your shoulder or even across your chest.

We’re really proud of our new bags and hope you think they’re as cute and useful as we do!

Come take a walk in The Little Woods!

We’ve been showcasing our new designs for the Fruit Bats for the past week, but that’s not the only trick we have up our sleeve for 2014!  The charming critters of The Little Woods are also making their debut this month.  This delightful realm is home to all manner of graceful, endearing creatures.  Foxes prance and hunt between the tall trees.  Deer graze and play in sun-soaked meadows.  And all throughout the little woods, various critters go about their adorable daily duties.

With so many great animals to choose from, we have a wide variety of new products to showcase!  We’re starting off with 4 different button sets comprised of 6 unique buttons featuring owls, foxes, deer and critters.  We’ll also have a line of collectible bookmarks for you literary types out there as well as stationery and note pads to keep in touch with your friends.  Of course, you’ll need to carry all this awesome stuff – that’s where the tote bags come in!  These stylish bags will be 15 inches by 16 inches with an open top and gussets in the bottom to expand them to 4 inches wide.  They’re great for carrying around all your convention goods!  Within the next few weeks, we’ll also be producing pencil bags, patches and new animal sets to help you explore The Little Woods!

About two weeks ago we showcased some concept images of a new line of lolita-inspired animal hats.  We’ve been hard at work making the concepts a reality in between conventions and developing other new stuff.  After many painstaking hours, our first prototype is ready to be shown off – say hello to the Llama Lolita!  You can expect to see final versions and listings for the llama and all the other animals within the next two weeks!  In the meantime, keep an eye out for more images of the llama and her friends!

Last week we teased you guys with a few of our new Fruit Bat designs.  Since then, we’ve been blowing up TwitterFacebookTumblr and DeviantART with even more Fruit Bats!  The full line-up now includes Peach, Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Watermelon, Apple, Pineapple, Grape, Kiwi, and Lemon!  We’ve got big plans for this colony!  Stay tuned for updates including tote bags, buttons, pencil cases and more!

Last week, we were very happy to announce the very first episode of our twice-a-month webseries, Chit Chat with Lemonbrat!  Ryan and Corey walked us through a few of our upcoming conventions, some of our adorable (and comfy!) winter wear and even snuck in a few minutes of talking about My Little Pony!

The audio quality isn’t what we wanted it to be, unfortunately but we’ve got all the kinks worked out for our next episode and think you’ll still really enjoy the show!  Check it out!
